You guys know Lauren Oliver, right?  20th most followed person on Goodreads?  Author of such amazing books as Delirium and Panic?

(I’m listing those two because they’re the two I’ve read so far).

Anyway, she is also hilarious (saw her in person at the 2014 Texas Teen Book Festival).  Got to love an author who does her presentation while sitting on a tabletop.  Which is exactly the way I would do it.

Plus I remember she had some AMAZING boots on.

Irregardless! (Yes, Stegasaurus Wilde, I know you hate that word…) she’s been posting some of her #LoveTip s on her blog and through Goodreads.  You should totally check them out yourself because, as is common with her writing, they are hilarious and thought-provoking.

But just to get you started, I thought I’d share a few of my favorites right here….

  • Money can’t buy you love, but neither can staying hydrated, and it’s okay to pursue that too. Just don’t let it consume you.
  • Romantic love is a single slice in the great pizza pie of loving relationships we can have. And who wants only 1 slice of pizza????
  • Love hurts, but so does going to the gym. Both will be good for you in the end. Keep trying & the benefits become obvious over time

And one of my favorites:

  • Remember that Cupid is a blind guy with a crossbow. Sometimes he misfires. Do your research. #LOveTip

So what are your #lovetips?  What did you think of hers?  Let us know in the comments below!!  And happy Valentine’s!  Celebrate whatever love you have today, and don’t worry about the rest!!!
